Details of installation of a back half shaft and nave
|

1. Release the parking brake. A car back also establish to Poddomkratta it on props. Prop up forward wheels antiretractable boots. Details of installation of a half shaft are given on an illustration above.
2. On the equipped ABS models remove the wheel sensor. (See the Head Brake system).
3. Remove assembly of the brake mechanism (see the Head Brake system).
4. Disconnect a cable of the drive of the parking brake and the hydraulic line from the wheel cylinder (see the Head Brake system).
5. Give four nuts of fastening of a back plate of a half shaft to a case of the back bridge.
6. Take a half shaft from a bridge case, try not to damage an epiploon.
7. Take from the flute in a face surface of a case a sealing ring.

8. Having hooked a big screw-driver, or having used the special tool, take a half shaft epiploon (address to an accompanying illustration). |
9. Further dismantling of the back bridge demands use of special tools, including a hydraulic press and has to be charged to specialists of car service.
10. Having used a face head of the suitable size or a piece of a pipe of the corresponding diameter as a mandrel, put a new epiploon of a half shaft in a bridge case, grease epiploon sponges with universal greasing.
11. Having slightly oiled, establish a new sealing ring.
12. Estimate a condition of a half shaft surface, remove teases and the agnails capable to lead to damage of an epiploon. Slightly oil a half shaft pure and fill it in a bridge case, try not to damage vents an epiploon.
13. Further installation is made as it should be the return to an order of dismantle of components. Track that nuts of fastening of a face plate were tightened with the demanded effort. |
