Transmission line

The present Chapter is devoted to the transmission components located between back part of the engine and wheels of the car (without transmission and a transfer case which are considered in the Head Korobka of gear shifting). According to the destination the considered components can be broken into two categories: driveshafts and half shafts / power shafts. Descriptions of a design and the principle of action of each of separate knots, and also procedures of check of a state, removal and dismantling of the components entering into both groups are provided in the following Sections.

As the most part of the procedures described in the present Chapter is made under the car, the special attention should be paid to reliability of fixing of the last in the lifted situation.
