Removal

3. The procedure described below is applicable to all four camshafts. In both heads first of all the final shaft (after blocking of the sprung gear ring with a gear wheel), then final is always removed. At first remove camshafts of the right head of cylinders. 5. Establish a tag on a camshaft gear wheel approximately in 10 ° (address to paragraph 3 illustration). Working strictly in a certain order (address to an accompanying illustration), in stages (on 1/4 turns for approach) weaken bolts of fastening of covers of bearings of camshafts so that there was a possibility of a reversing of bolts manually.

For fastening of covers bolts of the different sizes are used – do not mix them at installation. |

6. Remove an oil pipeline, covers of bearings and it is careful, trying not to warp, take camshafts from a head of cylinders.

7. Working in a similar manner, take camshafts from the second head of cylinders taking into account that dot tags on camshafts should be combined (address to an accompanying illustration). |
8. Put the components removed from the engine strictly in the organized manner guaranteeing possibility of their installation at assembly on the former places.
|
At this stage adjusting washers of pushers of valves which at assembly also have to be established strictly on the former places can be taken by means of a magnet. |
9. For dismantle of assembly of a gear wheel clamp a final camshaft for lysk in a vice with soft sponges.

10. By means of a bayonet key develop a gear ring clockwise so that to remove the effort developed by a spring from a service bolt (address to an accompanying illustration), then turn out the last, having released a ring.

In the absence of near at hand bayonet key pass throughout a free opening in a cogwheel the second service bolt, and, using it as a support, develop a wheel by means of a screw-driver. |

1. Visually estimate a condition of working surfaces of cams and bearing necks of shaft. Calculate a gap, subtracting value of diameter of a neck from value of diameter of its bearing. 3. Establish a camshaft on prisms and measure a beating of an average neck by means of the dial measuring instrument. Compare results of checks to requirements of Specifications, in case of need replace a worn-out shaft. |

Installation
|
1. Mount assembly of a gear wheel of a final shaft, having established into place the torsion spring, a gear ring and a wavy washer. Record assembly by a lock ring, having tracked reliability of landing of the last. 2. Clamp assembly of a shaft in a vice with soft sponges. 3. Pass a service bolt throughout a smooth opening in a gear ring, by means of a screw-driver develop a ring clockwise so that there was a combination of openings, and screw the second bolt in a gear wheel, having strongly pulled together with it assembly. Take the first service bolt from a ring. Similarly block assembly of a gear wheel of the second shaft. 4. Remove old sealant from segment traffic jams. Apply sealant in flutes of traffic jams and establish them in heads of cylinders. At first establish the right camshafts. 5. Grease pushers with molibdensoderzhashchy greasing and put them strictly on the former places in heads of cylinders. Track that each of pushers was completed with the former adjusting washer. 6. 7. Lay shaft on the regular places. Turning a camshaft Rozhkov a key, establish a dot tag of a shaft at an angle about 10 ° over a horizontal. Remove old sealant from a forward cover of the bearing and apply a strip about 1.5 mm wide of fresh FIPG sealant on the specified places (address to an accompanying illustration). 8. Establish a cover before sealant stiffens. Installation of a forward cover defines a persistent gap of a camshaft.

10. Establish a new epiploon of a camshaft. 11. Grease carving parts of bolts of D and E. Working in strictly certain order (address to paragraph 9 illustration), in stages (on 1/4 turns for approach) tighten in some approaches bolts of fastening of covers with the demanded effort. 12. Turn out a service bolt.

13. Working in a similar manner, establish camshafts of the left head of cylinders taking into account that dot tags on camshafts should be combined (address to an accompanying illustration): installation of forward covers of bearings. |

14. Check valvate gaps (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance of the car) 15. Before installation of covers of heads of cylinders remove from them and from segment traffic jams old sealant. Apply on a place of a joint of a valvate cover with a camshaft bearing No. 1 cover new sealant. Apply sealant in the central flute of segment traffic jams and establish them in a head of cylinders. Establish new laying of covers of heads of cylinders, check a condition of sealants under bolts of fastening of covers and establish covers of heads of cylinders. 17. Further installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components. 18. Start the engine and check it for existence of signs of development of leaks. |
