Removal and installation of assembly of the control panel functioning of a heater and conditioner of air

Some of the cars considered in the present manual are equipped with system of additional safety (SRS) better known as a safety cushion. Before performing any works near assembly of a pillow or a steering column, without fail disconnect system in order to avoid receiving injuries as a result of its casual operation, – disconnect from the battery at first a negative, then positive wire and wait not less than two minutes before starting service of the components located close sensors of the directed overloads (see. Onboard electric equipment). Isolation and contact sockets of an electrical wiring of a chain of SRS are painted in bright yellow color. It is not necessary to connect any diagnostic units to this chain!

Forward heater

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. A thin screw-driver remove two clamps, an ashtray and a coaster.
2. Remove an overlay of the console from the control panel a forward heater (address to an illustration above).
3. Extend the control unit and disconnect an electrical wiring.
4. Installation is made upside-down.
5. Start the engine and check serviceability of functioning of the heater/conditioner of air.

Back heater

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a back overlay of the block and include a heater on a maximum.
2. Give three screws and remove the control unit (address to an illustration above).
3. Disconnect the socket of an electrical wiring and a cable of management.
4. Installation is made upside-down.
5. Start the engine and check serviceability of functioning of the heater/conditioner of air.
