The jack which is included in the standard package of the car is intended only for performance of procedures of change of wheels. When carrying out any other repair or scheduled maintenance the car should be lifted by means of hydraulic (or cart) a jack and it is obligatory to establish on the special props got under the bearing bottom points. If need for removal of wheels is absent, the car can be tired out on a viewing hole or a platform.

For a poddomkrachivaniye the car should be parked on an equal horizontal surface, whenever possible with a hard coating. In the presence of the slightest bias it is necessary will take care of precautionary measures against kickback: prop up the wheel located on a diagonal from a subject to removal by antiretractable boots, firmly cock the parking brake and transfer the selector lever to situation "P". Try not to depart far from the poddomkrachenny car, especially if nearby there are children.

Put and remove the tool. Do not forget to clean antiretractable boots.
When carrying out more serious, than replacing a wheel, repair work under the car, besides a jack, are usually started special props.

Do not get a jack under car thresholds, the pallet of a case, the panel of a floor or directly under components of the steering drive or a suspension bracket at all!

Do not perform any repair work under the car fixed in the lifted situation by means of only one jack! Surely use reliable props!

Towage

Strictly speaking, the emergency vehicle should be towed with the driving (forward) wheels which are torn off from the earth (best of all in general on a wrecker platform). In emergency situations towage of the car for towing eyes is allowed. If it is necessary to make towage of the car without separation of lobbies or back wheels, disconnect the corresponding driveshaft from assembly of differential of the bridge, transfer the selector lever to neutral situation, and the switch of interaxal differential – in the situation OFF (Otkl.).

If the car is towed with a separation from the earth of back wheels, lobbies have to be blocked in rectilinear situation by means of the special adaptation, and the ignition key should be turned in the situation ACC or ON in order to avoid damage of the lock of blocking of a wheel. At the corresponding complete set disconnect naves of free rotation.

Use the towing sling which is only specially intended for this purpose which can practically be got cheap in any shop of automobile accessories at towage of the emergency vehicle. The sling has to cling only to the bearing body elements, and in which case not to a bumper.

Do not forget to turn a key in the lock of ignition of the towed car in the situation ACC or ON, otherwise inevitably there will be a blocking of a steering column. Besides, at the included ignition also indexes of turns and stoplights are activated.

Remember that at the switched-off engine efficiency of braking of the car considerably decreases because the vacuum amplifier of brakes ceases to function. Thus it is necessary to squeeze out a pedal of a foot brake with a little big, than usually by effort. On the models equipped with the power steering (GUR) when performing maneuvering the bigger effort should be put as well to a steering wheel.

The driver of the towed vehicle has to try to hold constantly a towing sling in the tense situation in order to avoid breakthroughs and accidents of running-down him wheels.

Before a start of motion drivers of both vehicles (towing and towed) should coordinate among themselves a route.

The movement has to be carried out only with moderate speeds, along the shortest route and observance of traffic regulations. Avoid sharp braking, accelerations and maneuvering.
