3.1.2. Pumping of a hydraulic drive of coupling (a transmission – F13/F17 + / F23)

ATTENTION
Use only brake DOT 4 liquid.

The hydraulic drive of coupling is pumped over only "from below", that is via the pumping valve. For this purpose the device for air removal from a hydraulic actuator of brakes is used.

ATTENTION
Manual pumping is not allowed.
Observe production instructions when using device for air removal from brakes. The device for air removal from brakes should provide pressure approximately the 2nd bar.

Device installation
Attach the device for air removal from a hydraulic actuator. For this purpose attach the device adapter for air removal from brakes to a tank of a hydraulic actuator of brake system.
Establish the special MKM-6174-2 tool on the adapter.
Lower the hose end in the suitable container.
Disconnect a valve cap from the valve of pumping and attach the special MKM-6174-1 tool to the pumping valve.
Remove air from a coupling drive.
Turn on the device for air removal from a hydraulic actuator.
Open the pumping valve (2–3 turns).
Pump over to an exit of brake liquid without bubbles.
Close (by hand) the pumping valve.

Device removal
Disconnect the device for air removal from a hydraulic actuator. Disconnect the device adapter for air removal from a hydraulic actuator.

ATTENTION
Surely execute following operations for filling of the delivery pipeline of a case of a transmission of the working cylinder of coupling. When pumping, make sure that the tank of a hydraulic actuator of brake system is filled.

Remove air from the delivery pipeline of the working cylinder of coupling.
Establish the special MKM-6174-2 tool on MKM-6174-1 on the pumping valve, lower the free end in the suitable container
Press and hold a coupling pedal.
Open the pumping valve.
Open the pumping valve before emergence of air and/or an air mix / brake liquid.
Close (by hand) the pumping valve.
Slowly release a pedal of coupling and wait for about 5 pages.
Repeat procedure four times.
Tighten the valve of pumping the moment of 5 N · m.
Disconnect the special MKM-6174-1 and MKM-6174-2 tools.
Remove a cap from the pumping valve.
Fill a tank of a hydraulic actuator of coupling with brake liquid to "MAX" label.
Close a tank of a hydraulic actuator of brake system.
Check pressure of operation of a pedal of coupling.
Check ease of inclusion of all transfers at the working engine and the squeezed-out coupling.

NOTE
Make a trial trip to guarantee accurate work of system of coupling and braking. A trip carry out with various speeds and frequent gear shifting to reach working temperatures.
