5.2.2. Effort check on a steering wheel

NOTE

Before carrying out check, check pressure in tires, type of tires and a contact surface.

Establish a steering wheel in the central situation.

Remove an overlay of a steering wheel.

Start the engine and establish idling turns.

Using a dinamometrichesky key, measure effort on a steering wheel in both directions.

Maximum permissible effort: 6 N · m.

If effort on a steering wheel more maximum permissible, repair the amplifier of a steering.

Tighten a nut of fastening of a steering wheel.

Inhaling moment: 35 N · m.

Establish an overlay of a steering wheel.
