Refueling volumes and applied operational materials

Fuel consumption, issue WITH
For fuel consumption definition since 1996 the instruction of 80/1268/EWG with the last change of 1999/100/EG operates.
The instruction considers real conditions of traffic: driving in the city is estimated with factor about 1/3, and driving outside the city with factor about 2/3 (fuel consumption in the city and in the country). Cold starts and acceleration phases are thus considered.
Besides, a component of the instruction is the indication of issue of CO2.
From the provided data it is impossible to draw a conclusion about that, how many fuels are consumed by each concrete car.
At fuel consumption definition on a standard of 1999/100/EG own mass of the car established also on this standard is considered. The additional special equipment of the car can increase a little weight and, together with it, consumption of fuel and CO2 issue.

Type, properties and volumes of working liquids
Use of etilirovanny gasoline and abuse of additives to fuel can lead to failure of the catalytic converter of the fulfilled gases, to discrepancy to requirements of toxicity of an exhaust and engine breakage. On diesel models at all do not use an additive for the winter operation, fuels increasing fluidity. At default of these requirements in case of an engine exit out of operation guarantee certificates of manufacturer for this car do not extend.

Recommended fuel
Petrol engines
Apply unleaded gasoline with octane number not less than 95 (on a research method).
Diesel engine
Apply diesel fuel with tsetanovy number not less than 50.
Depending on temperature of air maintain the car on diesel fuel of a summer or winter grade.
At temperature7 C a summer grade of fuel are higher
At temperature7 C a winter grade of fuel are lower

ATTENTION
It is forbidden to fill the car with the liquid fuel intended for house coppers of heating, gasoline and any combustible liquids, except diesel fuel. When using improper fuel the engine will receive serious damages.
It is not necessary to fill the car with diesel fuel of a summer grade if the temperature of air is lower - 7. When cooling in summer fuel crystals of paraffin which hammer the fuel filter intensively drop out. Thus the engine can stop or work with interruptions.

In the absence of unleaded fuel of a grade "super" it is possible to use fuel with octane number 91, avoiding high loads of the engine and a full load of the car, and also driving in mountains with the trailer or with high loading the capacity and an engine torque thus decrease. The detonation regulator depending on a grade of the filled fuel (its octane number) automatically adjusts ignition system.

NOTE
The engines adjusted at manufacturer for work on gasoline with octane number AI-95, can be maintained without restrictions and on AI-98 gasoline, however it will not lead to increase in profitability or improvement of operational properties of the car.

Recommendations about a choice of viscosity of engine oil (petrol engines)
It is recommended to use engine oil with viscosity 5W-30, in the absence of such oil be guided by the provided scheme taking into account prevailing temperatures of air.

Coolant of central air of air
Air central air on the car fill with a coolant of HFC-134a (R-134a) or the similar operational material which completely equivalent is specified on properties. Application of other coolant will lead to serious damages of central air of air and need of complete replacement of system.
It is not recommended to let out a coolant in the atmosphere. The coolant of HFC-134a (R-134a) applied in cars, does not render harmful effects on an ozone layer of the atmosphere. Nevertheless, hit in the atmosphere of a coolant can promote in small degree to global warming of climate.

Type of cooling liquid
It is necessary to use only the red (dark orange) antifreeze not containing silicates recommended for application by Opel firm, with number 19 40 650/09 194 431 on a label. At long operation color of antifreeze can gain yellow color. It does not influence properties of cooling liquid therefore it can be used to next planned THAT.

ATTENTION
It is forbidden to use in cooling system antifreezes/antifreezes of green-blue color, with the content of silicate. Addition of any additives to antifreeze (including for sealing of system and elimination of small leaks) is not recommended.

Cover of a fuel tank
At replacement of a cover of a fuel tank it is necessary to establish only the firm cover which has been let out by the Opel company for this model as only it provides full functionality. On cars with diesel engines the special cover of a fuel tank is established.
