2.8.2. Gap check in a rod the bearing

NOTE Check is carried out by the tool for measurement of gaps in sliding bearings.

Note the adjusting provision of a cover of the shatunny bearing.

Disconnect loose leaves of the shatunny bearing and a cover of the shatunny bearing, having unscrewed 2 bolts of fastening.

Measure a gap in a rod the bearing, using the tool for measurement of gaps in sliding bearings (a plastic wire).

NOTE The tool for measurement of gaps in bearings of sliding is available to various ranges of measurements.

Cut off a wire so that its length corresponded to width of the shatunny bearing.

Lay a wire along an axis between a radical neck of a cranked shaft of the shatunny bearing and the loose leaf of the shatunny bearing.

Establish a cover of the shatunny bearing

NOTE That the wire did not break at removal of a cover of the shatunny bearing, remove konsistentny greasing from a shatunny neck of a cranked shaft and slightly grease the loose leaf of the shatunny bearing – do not turn a cranked shaft.

Tighten 2 bolts the moment of 13 N · m tighten on +60 ° and +15 °.

Uncover the shatunny bearing, unscrew 2 bolts.

ATTENTION Do not confuse decimal and metric information of scale of measurement.

Measure width of the flattened-out site of a plastic wire by means of measuring scale.

Admissible gap in a rod the bearing: from 0,013 mm to 0,061 mm.

Establish the loose leaf of the shatunny bearing and a cover of the shatunny bearing.

Clear a shatunny neck of a cranked shaft of the bearing and the loose leaf of the shatunny bearing.

Slightly grease loose leaves of the shatunny bearing.

Tighten 2 bolts the moment of 13 N · m also tighten on +60 ° and +15 °.

ATTENTION Always use M6,5 bolts. Use new bolts.
