6.4.4. Removal and ABS hydrounit installation / replacement (ABS 8.0, ABS of 8.0 CCDs)

ATTENTION
Before repair work on the ABS hydrounit or the control unit for the ABS hydrounit it is necessary to read the instruction on repair.

Removal
Consolidation for a tank of a radiator 2 take away as it is possible further.
Protective cover 1 for the main brake cylinder cast away up.
Establish the KM-558-10 adaptation on a tank for brake liquid.
Unscrew a carving cover 1.
Pour brake liquid to edge.
Screw up by means of KM-558-10.

NOTE
Collect the spilled brake liquid.
|
Weaken brake tubes 2 on the main brake cylinder.
Weaken 2 nuts.
Dismantle directing for a brake tube 3 from the face panel.
Dismantle the ABS hydrounit.
Dismantle all brake tubes from the hydrounit.
Turn off 6 nuts (arrow).

NOTE
Use a trumpet key. To pay attention to compliance of a brake tube.

Insert the socket of a plait of wires 1.
Turn off 2 nuts 2.
Unscrew the hydrounit in the face panel through the holder.
Installation
Mount the ABS hydrounit.
Unscrew the hydrounit in the holder.
Twirl 2 nuts of 2 10 N · m.
Insert the socket of a plait of wires 1.
Mount all brake tubes in the hydrounit.
Twirl 6 nuts (shooter) of 16 N · m.

NOTE
Use a trumpet key. To pay attention to compliance of a brake tube.

Mount brake tubes 2 on the main brake cylinder.
Twirl 2 nuts of 16 N · m.
Mount directing for brake tubes 3 on the face panel.
Remove air from brake system and check tightness.
Protective cover 1 for the main brake cylinder cast away up.
Mount consolidation on a tank of a radiator 2.
At control unit replacement: program the ABS control unit.
